Betting Not On Gamstop is an independent research site for adults in Great Britain and the wider UK who want to understand betting sites that are not on GamStop before they sign up. We explain the offers, the restrictions and the protections involved, so you can judge a bookmaker on its terms rather than its advertising.

This page covers who the site is for, how we assess operators, how the money side works, and where our limits are. We have not named an individual author for this page, and we do not claim credentials we cannot show.

Commercial disclosure

Some operators we feature may pay us a commission if you register through our links. That relationship does not decide rankings, and commission cannot buy a higher position. Editorial ratings are our own assessments. They are not customer-review scores.

What this site is for

Many readers arrive after self-excluding through GAMSTOP, or simply want to compare bookmakers outside that scheme. We do not tell you what to do. We set out the facts, including the trade-offs, and leave the decision to you.

  • Plain-English explanations of welcome bonuses, free bets, price boosts, cashback and loyalty rewards
  • Guides to wagering requirements, minimum qualifying odds, bonus expiry dates and cashout limits
  • Coverage of sports markets: football, horse racing, tennis, golf, darts, snooker, cricket, boxing, esports and more
  • Explanations of bet types such as accumulators, each-way, bet builders and early cash-out
  • Payment and withdrawal information, including verification checks

Legal standing: what readers should know

In Great Britain, gambling businesses serving British customers must be licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. GAMSTOP is the national self-exclusion scheme, and UK-licensed operators must take part in it. Sites described as not on GamStop generally operate under overseas gambling licences, which are issued by other regulators and do not give the same protections as a UK licence.

Accepting British customers is not the same as being authorised to serve them. Before you register anywhere, check which licence the operator holds, who owns it, and what its terms say about complaints. You must be 18 or over. If you have self-excluded, think carefully about whether these sites are right for you. Our responsible gambling page explains deposit and loss limits, self-exclusion, blocking software and support from GamCare.

How we assess betting sites

We have not placed bets, deposited or withdrawn on these sites for this page. Our assessments come from researching and reviewing each operator's published terms, advertised offers and support information, checked as at 1 October 2026. Terms change, so always read the current conditions before you commit.

  1. Licensing and ownership: what licence the operator states and whether the owner is identified.
  2. Bonus terms: wagering requirements, contribution by sport or payment method, maximum bet, expiry and cashout caps.
  3. Odds and markets: breadth of sports, bet types, in-play and pre-match coverage, fractional odds display.
  4. Payments: GBP accounts, card, e-wallet, bank and crypto options, fees and currency conversion.
  5. Withdrawals and verification: stated processing times, limits, KYC and source-of-funds checks.
  6. Support and complaints: contact channels and the complaints procedure.
  7. Mobile experience: whether a site or app is offered.

We separate three kinds of information: what we have confirmed from published terms, what is bookmaker advertising, and what remains unresolved. Where we cannot verify something, we say so.

The operators we feature

Our ranked list currently includes Tenobet, smash, Betninja, CoinPoker, WinnerIsland, Gambiva, Gamble Gorilla, BetBluff, Rolletto and 7abet. The cards on the page show each headline offer and editorial rating. A few notes on how to read them:

OperatorAdvertised headline offerWorth checking
TenobetSports package: 300% up to €3,000Euro-denominated, so check currency conversion for GBP accounts
smash250% up to €5,000Wagering and maximum bet conditions
Gamble GorillaWelcome Sports Bonus 100% up to £100 with £20 depositMinimum £20 deposit needed; confirm expiry and wagering
BetBluffWelcome Sports Offer 100% up to £150 bonusQualifying deposit and odds rules
7abetWelcome Bonus of 300% up to £200Large percentage matches often carry heavier wagering

Tenobet

Ranked first on our editorial rating of 10.0. Its advertised sports package of 300% up to €3,000 is among the largest on the list. The limitation: the amount is in euros, and we have not confirmed that GBP accounts are offered, so conversion costs may apply. Bonus size also tells you little without the wagering terms.

smash

Rated 9.9, with an advertised 250% up to €5,000. It stands out for the ceiling of its offer. The drawback is the same as with any big match bonus: a higher bonus usually means more to wager before withdrawal, and we have not verified the conditions here.

Betninja

Rated 9.8, advertising €1,000 plus 100 free spins. The spins point to a casino side, which suits readers who want both products. Spins are not sports betting value, though, and a shared wallet may mean bonus rules cross over. Check how the two parts are treated.

Gamble Gorilla, BetBluff and 7abet use pound-denominated offers, which may simplify things for UK readers, but you should still confirm the terms for yourself.

How the money works

Joining costs nothing, but betting uses your own funds. Payment methods vary by operator and can change, so verify availability for UK customers rather than assuming. Possible options include debit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, crypto, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Paysafecard, but we do not state that any specific site supports them. Check for payment fees, minimum deposits, withdrawal limits and processing times, and for currency conversion if the account is not in GBP.

Worked example: a 100% match up to £100 with a £20 deposit gives £20 in bonus funds. With 10x wagering on deposit plus bonus, you would need to stake £400 before withdrawing. That figure is illustrative only, not a real operator's terms.

Expect identity verification (KYC) before a first withdrawal, and possibly source-of-funds checks. Complete these early. Withdrawals are never guaranteed, and disputes should go through the operator's complaints procedure first.

What you can bet on, and what else these sites offer

Most sites list football, horse racing, tennis, golf, darts, snooker, cricket, boxing and esports, with bet types from 1x2 and over/under to each-way and accumulators. Many also run casinos, so a shared wallet is common. Our non GamStop casinos guide covers that side separately. Casino play follows different rules from sports betting and often has different bonus terms.

Who this site suits, and who it does not

It suits informed adults comparing options. It does not suit anyone relying on gambling for income or to solve money worries. Gambling is not a source of income. If it is causing harm, contact GamCare or the National Gambling Helpline.
